Columbus offers to its member universities the possibility of sending a representative for an internship at Moverim Consulting. Learning is done through a "total immersion" in the EC world.
The European Union, through its many cooperation programs with Latin America, offers a lot of opportunities to universities in the region.
Successful and lasting cooperation goes beyond simple training to complete forms.Successful bids also require the establishment of contacts, understanding the logic behind each of the existing mechanisms as well as the understanding of how the Commission operates and what it expects from every proposal.
For these reasons, the most effective way to work with the Comission is to carry out an immersion internship in a group associated with the European Commission.
Given the interest in this subject, Columbus offers students and staff of its member universities the possibility of sending a representative to do an internship at "Moverim Consulting" (www.moverim.eu), based in Brussels.
The main objective of this internship is to train the intern to understand how the European Commission functions, through participation in briefings, interviews, and the transfer of knowledge and experiences accumulated by the consultancy. This service complements the information sent regularly by Columbus to its members about opportunities for international cooperation related to European projects.
Until now Moverim has supported interns representing the following member universities:
- Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina;
- Universidad Autónoma de Mexico;
- Universidad del Rosario, Colombia;
- Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil;
- Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal;
- Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile;
- Universidad de Carabobo, Venezuela.
