that gives to the students possibilities to get through World’s windows from home, from the campus, without the need of going abroad.
In Caracas, 30 professors participated to the workshop, while 45 did in Barquisimeto. In both cities, the universities formed task forces to carry-forward development projects of the international curricula.
As inspiration, Columbus presented the cases of some of its member universities, that are developing models based on competencies, the case of Universidad del Norte, Colombia, and also collaboration in international virtual courses, with two examples of Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico.
Columbus will keep supporting its Venezuelan member universities in their projects and, currently, develops several activities that insure continuity to their collaboration but in cooperation with the other universities of the network.
