Columbus participates in CILAC 2018

From October 22 to 24, 2018, the II Open Forum of Sciences of Latin America and the Caribbean -CILAC 2018- will take place, organized by UNESCO's Regional Office of Sciences for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Columbus will participate actively in the organization of four activities in the framework of this event: High Level Session on Open Science; Discussion Session on Open Research Data: Policies and Actions; Thematic Session on Collaboration between universities and cities: lessons from experience; and a Workshop on Open Data: Processes and resources of the research data plan.

Workshop: Open data: Processes and resources of the research data plan

Wednesday, October 24 • 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Organized by the Columbus Association, in charge of Paola Andrea Ramirez, this workshop offers researchers and heads of research systems, inputs to evaluate the scope of research data management in the Open Science model and establish the conditions that allow to develop and consolidate the initial strategies of the Region.
