PUCRS (Brazil) offers Scholarship for its Summer Courses in Medicine

PUCRS is inviting students from Columbus member universities to attend its Summer Courses in Medicine to be held in January 2019.

These, 60 hours, three-week courses will offer international students practicum work in four areas: Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics e Clinical Neurology. These courses will be facilitated by PUCRS’ faculty members, and will foster medical students’ continuous development. Students will get a certificate at the end of the program.

When: The courses will take place between January 7th to 25th, 2019 from Monday to Friday at 8.00 am-12pm.

 

Where: The morning classes will take place at the PUCRS’ São Lucas Hospital, one of the most important hospitals of Rio Grande do Sul, mostly at the clinics and inpatient units and surgery wards.

Target Audience: Medical School undergraduate students

Language of Instruction: English

SCHOLARSHIP TO COLUMBUS MEMBER UNIVERSITIES

PUCRS' School of Medicine will offer a scholarship for the program 2019/1 (exemption of payment of the tuition of the course) for one student of a Columbus member university.

The recipient of the scholarship must cover costs of transportation, accommodation, food and personal expenses during the length of the program.

The decision will be communicated by e-mail to the Columbus Association within 10 working days after the closing date of the submission of the applications. Columbus will communicate the results to the candidates.
