Columbus participates in Seminar: Sustainability and Development Planning at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba -UNC-, Argentina

Around 70 specialists in different scientific fields from various countries of Latin America and Europe are meeting from June 5 to 9 at the UNC to analyze and debate on the visions of development in Latin America and the role of planning for Sustainable Development.

The Seminar is organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of Argentina, the Latin American Center for Interdisciplinary Training on Sustainability and Development - CELFI S/D, the Secretary of Science and Technology and the Secretariat for International Relations of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.

Daniel Samoilovich, Executive Director, and Kelly Henao, International Projects Manager of Columbus participated in the panel: Science, Technology and the Role of Universities in Environmental Sustainability of Development along with Diego Pacheco Balanza, Former Deputy Minister of Planning of Bolivia. The topics covered in the panel were the contribution of universities to sustainable development, opportunities for international collaboration in sustainable development and universities and their role in building new paradigms towards sustainable development.
