07 December 2016

As a result of the close collaboration for more than 20 years of Columbus with HEC - Hautes Etudes Commerciales - prestigious business school in France, two business professors from Columbus' Member Universities have been awarded scholarships for the International Teachers Program (ITP).

12 candidates from Member Universities participated in the call. As a result, the recipients of these grants are Monica Bonifaz of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru for the 2017 program and Jorge Madrigal Mena of the Universidad de Costa Rica for the 2018 program.

The ITP is the world’s leading faculty-development programme. Participants of the ITP programme refresh and develop their skills, share expertise, connect with a diverse range of peers from around the world, increase their effectiveness in the classroom, bridge the gap between theory and practice and improve the quality of teaching across the world.

This programme is organized by a group of twelve leading business schools with campuses located in Europe, North America and Asia: China Europe International Business School,  HEC Paris,  IAE Aix en Provence, IMD Lausanne, INSEAD Fontainebleau, Indian School of Business Hyderabad, Kellogg School of Management -Northwestern University, London Business School, Manchester Business School, SDA Bocconi Milan, Stern School of Business - New York University, Stockholm School of Economics, as well as the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), known collectively as International Schools of Business Management (ISBM).

In addition to the two scholarships already granted, a half scholarship is still available for participants who desire to attend the program. Universities willing to apply must cover half of tuition fees and travel and accommodation expenses of the participant (approx. 9,000 euros).

For 2017 and 2018, the ITP Programme will be run by IAE Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management (France) and it will take place in January (Aix-en-Provence) and July (Barcelona) of each year. For more information:
