The European Commission, through-out the Erasmus+ program, will grant 18 projects for the Latin-American region. The projects have to start the foreseen activities will start very soon. The Columbus Secretariat launched and promoted the design and application of the proposal, together with the University of Antwerp, and supported the creation of a network of architectural schools.

Columbus also identified an important partner for the success of this project: Ciudades y Gobiernos Locales Unidos-CGLU (in English: United Cities and Local Governments).
